Girls Section 2
The girls from Saratoga put on a show at SPAC to win their Class A Title. The week before at Suburban Council, the team had taken a big jump, moving their team average well below their 2018 efforts, which included low-stick Kelsey Chmiel tipping the scales on the average. They improved upon that mark even more so at their Championships, dropping their team average to 17:33.87. That's the 3rd fastest average time ever run, bested only by the efforts from the Saratoga 2004 team, who ran 17:17 at Suburban's, then 17:25 at Sectionals. Ella Kurto's winning time of 17:02 moves her to #13 All-Time on the SPAC Course.
