Boys Section 2
In what could be billed as the best race of the Sectional Competitions, Shenendehowa Boys edged out Guilderland by one point, 48 to 49, booking their tickets to States. Heading into the meet, Guilderland was ranked NY #2, and was the prohibitive favorite. Shen utilized a strong race to capitalize on the situation, and move past the front-runners. Shen's compression style team was key, as they were beaten at positions 1-2-3, but were two spots ahead at 4th position, and 8 spots ahead at their 5th.
