Recap: With a race out front all to himself at Shore Coaches, Liam Murphy got the head-to-head action he needed here at Manhattan. The best preparation for post-season, Murphy pulled away from the field in the backhills, and held on to his lead against a very strong field to win in 12:15.2, making it the second consecutive year for the Garden State to win. Matt Farrell opened his season well in a second place finish, Luke Johnson powers through for NJ to take third.
