Outlook: The Judges return four of the top 5 from last year's champs, so they are well set with Sophia and Siena Muccini, Ishil Kirkhan, and Amari Lallemand building a very low score for the first four places. The question here is who will be the runners filling out the team to give Cardozo the chance to repeat not only as PSAL champ but also in the NYC Mayor's Cup and to get a team score at Manhattan.

Brooklyn Tech (Engineers)

Outlook: The remarkably consistent Engineers fell back a little ways both in points and speed ratings at PSAL last year, but they have their top 4 back from last year highlighted by league champ Lucy Doogan and fellow seniors Christy Huynh and Chloe Isip returning for 2019. Whether BTech's deeper, more veteran squad can catch Benjamin Cardozo and win their third PSAL title in five years will likely depend on some upward movement behind Doogan.

Outlook:  The Phoenix are on the rise, bursting upward from a 14th place in the PSAL in 2017 to 4th last year during their fourth season in the PSAL team championship race. The top 6 from last year are back headed by sophomore Simone Isip who qualified for the cancelled Feds meet as a freshman, so the young Millennium team has the goods to keep moving up.

Susan Wagner (Falcons)

Outlook: The Falcons graduated four of the top 6 from the team at last year's 3rd place PSAL race, so a little rebuilding  needs to be done. Fortunately the construction work starts with two juniors including PSALs top rated returner and 2nd place finisher Kathryn Altieri and top 25 finisher Madison Codoner along with senior Lauren Hernandez who finished in the top 10 of the PSAL Staten Island Boro race. Some young legs would be welcome for the challenges of the next two years, but Susan Wagner should remain ensconced near the top of the league.

Outlook:  The Dragons moved up one more spot in the PSAL last year after leaping from 20th to 6th in 2017, so like Millennium they are a program on the rise. The top 5 are back from last year's race with Olivia Legowski, Julia Calvo, and Lydia Zheng all finishing in the top 16 and providing a great base to build around. All three are seniors, however, so some younger development is needed to keep CSIHS-McCown heading toward the top.
