This race will be a family affair. The top two seeds, Padua of Maryland and Ursuline of New York, both rely on bringing in strong sister pairs to push the pace. For Padua, the Olivere sisters, Lydia & Maddie, both are capable of going under that 5min mark for their splits. However, Ursuline, who medaled in the event at Indoor Nationals, is double the trouble. Pairing up the Flynn sisters, Sarah & Lily, with the McLean sisters, Hayley & Caitlin, they can produce a strong medal threat. It all depends who comes to the line, as both squads have a deep reservoir of legs to choose from.
