Notes: It's no secret that Amanda Vestri (Webster Thomas) has been on the rise for quite some time now. We even labeled her as a person to watch in 2014, then a sophomore. Now a senior, she has been hammering All-Time lists in Section 5, moving herself up the lists. But even that couldn't prepare her for taking down the reigning National Champions, as well as the reigning State Champion from 2015. Vestri did her best to stick with the leaders of Manlius for much of the race. The pace was hard, and the leaders switched periodically through the race. But Vestri remained constantly in contact, so much so that she was right on the leader's heels in the finishing straight. With 20m to go, she surged with all the energy she had left, coming even with Claire Walters of Manlius. In a final lean to the line, Vestri grabbed the win. | |||||

| Notes: Once again, Fayetteville-Manlius reaffirmed their domination in the State of New York. Their race didn't have the depth of the race before it, but the Hornets ran for themselves (and the merge) throughout. The lead was held by three separate runners at various points in the race, while the 1-4 compression remained strong. They came across with the win, 60 points ahead of second place in the merge. | |||||
