Boys Mile
It would seem like if you didn't win the Mile Slot at the Hispanic Games, the game plan was to comeback and try again three days later. Finishers number 2 ,4, 6 are all back for a rematch, as Conor Lundy (Fordham Prep), Eion Nohilly (John Jay-Cross River), and Ryan Dearie (St. Anthony's) all want another chance at the opportunity. Lundy has the best personal best of the bunch, the defending Outdoor State Champ.
Dalton Hengst (McDonough School) already has booked his ticket to the Millrose Games, and winning again would deny the field the chance for the auto-bid, much like Jessica Drop did at the recent Hispanic Games. What better tune-up for the real thing than the trials? Drake Anzano (CBA Lincroft) and Jaxson Hoey (Downingtown West) pose the biggest out-of-town threats for the title, both hovering around a personal best of 4:11.
