Girls Mile
With only two slots left for the Auto-Bids for the Millrose Games, the names that have broken out in 2016 are beginning to circle the prize. Pennsylvania is sending many of their top distance studs to vie for the title, with defending champion Mady Clahane (Cumberland Valley) leading the charge. Hannah Molloy (Pennsbury) is coming off a win over 3000m at the Hispanic Games along with teammate Sara Sargeant, and Aislinn Devilin (Downingtown West) should have plenty more in the tank than at Marine Corps.
New Jersey is answering right back, as Brianna Gess (Haddonfield) looks to make the field, and last year's runner-up Rachel Suss (Metuchen) is looking to improve one slot higher. Ciara Roche (Freehold Twp) is another NJ'er who has broken 5mins before.
New York is sending three of its' leaders as well, as Megan Reilly (Warwick) leads in the 1000m and 1500m, Diana Vizza (North Shore), NY #2 for Mile, and Mary Hennelly (Suffern) all look to break on in to the marquee event.
All girls above, and more have the ability to break 5-minutes for the Mile, chasing the National Leader set by Kaitlyn Neal from NY.
