State of the Action

A year's worth of match ups will come down to the final State Championships. Ryan Herrera-Murphy has been on a hot streak, winning every competition in-state and out, before the streak was broken at the Loucks Games. Still, the senior finds himself as the top seed in the field, rivaled by his own teammate Matt Fay. The pair traded off the win at Easterns, and either one could come out on top at the State Meet. And then there is Derek Dibona, who has been working himself back from injury all season. He is the only athlete to ever clear 16-feet, and could come away with a big upset in the Vault if he returns to those heights. Max Jordan is your top D2 prospect, one of the final competitors left in the concluding jumpers indoors.
