Eric Favors used the high pressure situation of the Indoor States Champs to launch a new personal best, which would stand as the Indoor State Record. Outdoors is now here, and it looks like he'll have to do much the same to stay clear of the competition. That's because Jaelen Vasquez has been quietly closing the gap on the top seed, putting himself in contention with a 60-foot throw at Intersectionals. With that said, Favors has been seen at meets experimenting with the spin technique, and with that perfected, the sky is the limit. There are plenty of those knocking on the 60-foot barrier, including top D2 seed Robert Detz. | |||||
