Cornell Warms Up With Section 4 Qualifier

State of the Action:

Recap - 55m dash final " girls: 8^th grade standout Tia Jones 7.24 took the win over junior Michaela Burrell 7.43 for the win and both girls advanced to the state meet.

State of the Action:

Recap - 55m hurdles final �" girls: Junior Anne Wozniak and Senior Emma Egli went 1-2 in the 55 Hurdle finals and earning a trip to the state meet. Both girls ran fast with Anne Wozniak being clocked at 9.51 and Egli finishing with a time of 9.57.

State of the Action:

Recap - 300m dash �" girls: In yet again another very close race the 600 had the top 6 girls all under 44 seconds. Junior Abbey Yatsko once again took the win in a time of 40.99 followed closely by 8^th grader standout Tia Jones 41.24 for the second state spot. Junior Nicole Leo with a time of 42.45 will be representing section 4 in the intersectional relay. 4-6 places went to Emily Cluck 42.70, Amanda Greenwood 43.08, Deborah Diarra 43.23.

Girls 600m

State of the Action:

Recap - 600m run �" girls: Another race that saw the top three girls have season best performances, the 600 was an unbelievable race that came down to the line with Senior Khiere Ashley taking a narrow win over Sophomore Claire Melvin in a time of 1:37.70 and 1:37.77. Both girls advancing to the State meet. The third state spot went to Senior Kaylee Uhl used all her past experience and used a very impressive late race surge over took Sophomore Marly Davies and Sophomore Miah Hunkele in the final 150 meters. Uhl will be representing section 4 in the intersectional relay.
