State of the Action: The last time Sage Hurta won a state title, MileSplit NY wasn't even a site yet.  Five years later, and she is looking very strong to repeat.  However, we say that with caution, as last year, Hope Pietrocarlo faced the same situation, and came out with the win.  The two will be battling once again on a course very similar, and it will be very close.  Our bet is that someone will become a repeat champion, the question is just who.

State of the Action: This is a race that got very interesting within the last week.  Both teams have put in good performances, while they both are accustomed to the weather as well.  Seton Catholic got the edge over Tully at the Pre-State Invite, yet both squads have made strong improvements.  It could come down to splitting hairs to capture the title here, and every point matters.
