State of the Action: In what has been a more relaxed and tactical approach to the season, Sophia Tasselmyer looks to be the favorite coming into the race, after a slower start at the beginning of the season.  That isn't to say that Emily Acker, who has been taking off this season, can't make a big jump against bigger competition.  Likewise, Kaitlyn Neal has been no stranger to big competition this season, and managed to shake off a  very good trio of runners at her sectional meet.  As always, it should be a good race.
