Boys Class M
Unlike their Wallingford counterparts on the girls Class M side, the Lyman Hall guys had actually won a Class title (and Open), but it was way way back in 1993, the same year that the World Wide Web (the internet) was born. In addition, though the Sheehan girls were seen as strong contenders for their title, the Trojan guys were long shots who needed a lot of pieces to fall into place for their low-budget 44-42 win over Jonathan Law in a meet that saw 11 teams score 20 or more points. Chase DeCrecenzo got the gold and AJ Cricco the bronze in the pole vault and 4x400m team came in 3rd for a late 22 point pick up that pushed Lyman Hall to the top after a 2nd in the 4x200m, 4th in the SMR, and Jacob Seamans' 3rd in the high jump had provided the team with a nest egg.
If there was any performance to sum up a strange madcap meet, it was Bethel freshman Luke Richardson's fourth long jump attempt that was almost 21 inches beyond his seed distance and gave him the win. Points and wins were pretty well spread around among the teams, but two top athletes included Michael Johnson who won the 55H with a CT # 1 time and then the 300m and Carver Morgan who took the 1600m-3200m double. Jeremy Rivera outlasted Foran's Basit Iddriss in the 600m with a CT #4 time. EO Smith's guys complemented the girls win in the 4x800m, though the girls took the title up in Class L.
