Class L Girls
Highlights:
Claire Gillis got the double in the sprints by holding off Shelby Dejana in both races after she took the 100H. Brittani Westbury got the lean over EO Smith's Gabriella Hernandez by .03 in the 400m. Olivia Birney captured the 800m and came close to the meet record in her 1600m victory, while Chloe Scrimgeour crushed Kate Wiser's 2019 MR by more than 18 seconds in the 3200m. Shani Smith chopped more than a second off her PR to take the 300H.
The favored relay teams all won by relatively comfortable margins, as Windsor, Simsbury, and New Milford all defended their seeds.
Anichka Malachi got the double in the LJ-TJ, while in the throws Gabriela DeFilice, Areyona Smith Belgrave, and Mackenzie Grady were near or above their season's PRs to win their events.
