Class LL Boys
Highlights:
Jason Lorent dominated the shorter sprints and Andrew O'Donnell powered fairly close to the meet record in the 400m. The longer distance events were all close and classic, as Gabriel Kwarteng got the lean on Ridgefield's Charles King in the 800m and Aidan Puffer led six guys under 4:15 and held off Fairfield Prep's Azaan Dawson in the 1600m and then withstood Ridgefield's Charles Namiot's challenge in the 3200m. Blake Battaglia edged Charles Foster in the 110H, but Foster took the 300H.
Top seeded Hall won a huge four-way battle in the 4x100m and then outlasted top-seeded Greenwich in the 4x400m, while Staples cruised to a big win in the 4x800m.
Israel Henriques-Setho got the double in the LJ-TJ and Aiden Chesanow won the battle of the 13 foot seeds in the PV over Trumbull's Jeremy Merkin. Ryan DeBarber's 183 foot toss in the javelin was topper in the throws.
