Throughout her high school career, Emma Gallagher (Garden City, NY) was tied to the 600m dash. She had set both middle school Class records, and continually was running within Top 10 All-Time nationally in the event. This was her shot to go after that national record once again, however Gallagher couldn't keep pace. Today, she still stands as a respectable #9 all-time in the event.
