The 2017 Glenn D. Loucks Preview Blowout - A Viewer's Guide

Boys Mile

State of the Action

What the field lacks in sub-4:10 milers, it more than makes up for in depth.  At the top, you have Federation Champ Noah Carey, fresh off Hockey season for his major Invitational debut.  Behind him, two athletes who have faced off many times since middle school.  Sam Toolin had the advantage at Nationals in both 8th grade and freshman year over Noah Tindale, but this will be the first time they face off in-season.  Underclassmen make up many of the top seeds, as Maazin Ahmed, Matt Politis, Greg Fusco, and Mason Gatewood will all be back next year.  One to also watch is Aidan Ryan, who took runner-up at States in the 1600m.

With a pack this close, you can expect a very close finish.
