State of the Action: What a race. The unseeded heat is always dangerous to those who try to make it tactical. Here, Treston White knew he had to run through the line in the unseeded heat, and hope the time held up. White was the top returner in the event coming into the season, and had never seen a banked track like the top seeds got their marks from. Then, in the following heat, the pair from Suffern tried to control the race, but the pace was too slow through the opening lap.
