Stanner Games Set To Impress This Weekend - Full Meet Preview

Invitational Boys Events

Mile

It's mostly an out-of-state affair in the mile, highlighted by top seed Ray Sellaro (North Hunterdon, NJ) at 4:15.57, and Josh Holihan (Randolph, NJ) at 4:19.71.  From there, some New Yorkers trickle in, with Robert Becker (Kingston) at 4:21, Eric Cunha (Riverhead) at 4:22, and Isaih Claiborne (Northport) at 4:22.  Should be a close match-up.

2-Mile

The two mile is a little more loaded up towards the front.  We'll see Jonathan Lauer (Sachem North) take to the track for the first time this season in a big invite, bringing his 9:24 personal best with him.  Jayson Hines (Kingston) brings a personal best of 9:26.63 to the table as well, to make things all-equal. The Tri-State volunteers two at 9:30, with Seth Slavin (Pleasant Valley, PA) and Ryan Martins (Watchung, NJ) taking the reins.  A few more can be found at 9:40, looking to break through.

Shot Put

One over and one under.  Chris Falsano (Sachem North) is the best local prospect, looking at a PB of 58-1.  But he'll be chasing Jordan West (Rahway, NJ), who is over the 60-ft barrier, and has hit 63-8.
