Top Ten Things To Look Out For At This Weekend's Bishop Loughlin Games

Boys Mile

It may be the second to last individual event of the day, but the mile will prove to keep the competition rolling.  Ray Sellaro (North Hunterdon) took 8th place at NJ MOC last spring in 4:15.57, and will be looking to begin his progression down into that range.  But surprise sophomore Maazin Ahmed (Schenectady) burst onto the scene last spring as well, hitting 4:14.99 at Suburbans.  His Indoor personal best is only 4:51, so expect the now-junior to be making a big jump.  Ian Moini (Pennington School) has hit 4:14.34 in the 1600m, but also comes in with the best mile time as well, with a legit 4:15.12.  We could see the first sub-4:20 mile of the season from Bishop Loughlin!
