Is Any Course Record Safe? All-Time Lists Under Assault In New York State


MileSplit HQ - Last year proved to be one of the stronger years in XC history, as many course record lists were getting reshaped throughout the year.  We've seen much of that again in 2016, but nothing like the past week.  We take a look at some of the significant runs of late, and what it could mean for the future.

It's a big year for the ladies of New York, as we have four legitimate threats to podium at either National Meet.  not only that, our top girls have proven they can move to the NCAA level well, as Abbey Wheeler took 8th at Big East, while Sage Hurta took 15th and Kaitlyn Neal took 21st at Pac 12.  All three are true freshman.

It's taken a while for the New York boys to break out, which could mean big things for the post season.  After nothing above at or above a 190 speed rating all year, we got three in the last week.  Things are starting to heat up.
