The sixth week of the NY rankings was a quiet time for most of the state, and even those teams that were running were often entering JV or partial squads at meets or doing relaxed runs far below their usual levels.Eight teams that did push the pace were Guilderland at Albany County, Notre Dame at the Staten Island Championship, Newark Valley at Marathon, Schalmont at the Greenwich Invite, Trinity at Collegiate meet, New York Mills at CSC, and back earlier in the week, Westhill-Bishop Ludden and CBA-Syracuse at the OHSL Liberty championship.
We now move more fully into the county and city boro meets over the days, and we'll be seeing a lot of great action at meets such as the Monroe, Rockland and STAC county meets and the Suburban Council during the next week and a half.
Cheers to all as we creep ever closer to that scary time of year when the tickets to States and Federations will be punched..
