Some Seriously Speedy Girls
This is a year when there is no big favorite for the Eastern States individual champ, following on a few years when Jessica Lawson and Weini Kalati stood out in 2015 and 2014 in the race. A group from the lead pack on the bridge last year are back, including Katelyn Tuohy, Maria Coffin, and Alex Harris, and Carly Benson was in the lead there two years ago. Alyssa Aldridge and Lydia Olivere look set to push the pace this year also, Caroline Timm will get her first challenge with strong competition, and the FM girls usually have a Hornet buzzing around at the top, with Claire Walters and Sophie Ryan likely to be the high flyers this year.
