| Despite some more recent forays into the higher profile MIle, the 400m was always Sammy Watson's first love. One that she happened to throw down a still-standing US #11 back in the first weekend of April. The fact that Watson could be capable of reaching close to sub-51secs is astounding, and Loucks is the perfect place to do it. Amanda Crawford is ample competition, splitting a 52-second split of her own. The two will most likely see eachother at States, where they will battle for a Fed title in the event. Jinjer Pearce and Paris Peoples would be clear favorites in any other meet, but Loucks always likes to up the ante. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
