As is with the girls, the Letter Race Winners from Manhattan are making an appearance in the distance events. Ryan Rafferty (Jackson Memorial, NJ) took home a title at the storied XC meet, but his 4:16 personal best will be tested against Andrew Hally's (Salesianum, DE) personal best of 4:14. Who knows what kind of shape either are in, and Jon Gay (EKMW) can sneak onto the podium with his 4:19. Mike Flanagan (Tatnall, DE) brings some more mid-atlantic talent, and rounds out the sub-4:20 crew. | ||||

Gabe Altopp (Ridgefield, CT) will test his endurance against Robert Whitney (Voorhees, NJ), both evenly matched at around 9:20. New York will have something to say about the top spots, as Giancarlo Cipri (Xavier) and Robert Gudicipietro (St. Joseph by the Sea) both had breakout XC seasons. | ||||
