Portland, OR - NXN is officially over, and the realization of the outcomes are finally sinking in.  We look back at some of our favorite photos and facts from the big show.

If you took the teams who placed second, third, and fourth (Davis CA, Great Oak CA, and Saratoga NY) and had them run as a single team, Manlius would still have won the race by ten points.

The only time any team came within 90 points of Manlius, was 75m into the race.  By 80m, they had a significant gap, highlighted by their front-running nature.

If the five qualifying individuals from each of the regions ran as a five-man team, the Girls from Manlius would have outscored the individuals from California, New York, the Northeast, and the Southeast.

Jenna Farrell joins several former teammates as being one of the most decorated XC Runners of All-Time, with four National Titles, and one runner up position.  Only Courtney Chapman, who has five National Titles, is more decorated in the sport of XC.

While Coach Aris has been compared to many coaches and athletes over the past decade, most recently having been dubbed the "Lombardi of Teen Running," another comparison can now be made.  He officially is the Yogi Berra of NXN, with "A Championship Ring for every finger."  He is also the only coach to have qualified for all 12 iterations.

Saratoga comes in 2nd at 11 appearances, the most of any girls team. (Many believe they deserved an invite in 2006)

Kelsey Chmiel's fourth place finish is not only the freshman course and meet record, but also ties Mackenzie Carter for the highest placing freshman ever.  Both happen to be from New York.

Kelsey Chmiel matches Saratoga's second best placing ever at Nationals.  Nicole Blood was third, Hannah Davidson took 4th, and Lindsay Ferguson took 5th, all in separate years.

--

North Rockland was the first team of any gender from Section 1 to appear at NXN

Ben Petrella is now tied for 4th, in the highest finish for a New York male athlete at NXN.  His 6th place puts him even with Alex Hatz, and behind Steve Murdock (1st), Tommy Gruenwald (4th), and Nick Ryan (5th).

Aidan Tooker joins Bryce Millar as the only New York male athlete to make NXN four years in a row.  Only 12 athletes in total have ever had that distinction, across the country.

Liverpool had the third best 1-2-3 punch in the field, with 37 points, only behind eventual winners Great Oak (23 points) and runner up American Fork (32 points)

The Manlius' Boys team has made 10 of the last 12 NXN's
