New York State Meet Doesn't Disappoint As National Powers Collide - Full Meet Recap

Girls Class C Individuals

State of the Action: As it was with the boys, the goal was to do what had already been done last year.  Sophia Tasselmeyer was looking to grab the elusive double-double-double.  Getting the individual and team wins on both genders, two years in a row is rare in a sport as competitive as Cross Country, and East Aurora was primed to take it on.  From the gun, Tasselmeyer took off, with teammate Fiona Danieu on her shoulder.  The two attacked the hills, and came across the line 1-2, with Tasselmeyer being one of the few under 19minutes.  Behind the pair, Hayliegh Pavotti capped off a breakout year with a third place finish, as Mika Andrews rounds out the top four.
