State of the Action: It was clear from the gun that Kenny Vasbinder was far and away from the field.  He pushed through the first mile, and accelerated towards the backhills.  As he approached the finishing stretch, he had a clear sight of the course record, set two races before his.  Vasbinder pushed through the line, to capture a repeat title.  Behind him, there had been a different battle.  Teammate TJ Murray had led through Mile 2, but the pace had taken it's toll, and Owen Barber pushed on through, followed closely by fast-finisher Alex Tosi.  And just like Pre-State, Tosi managed to find that late-race strength, and kick past the competition to take second place over Barber.  Jason McFarland rounds out your top finishers with a fourth place finish.
