Time to see what Sammy Watson can really do. She'll have two hours of rest after her 1500m on Day 2 to recover, and really put one out there. Watson is already under the meet record, and could take home more than that here. The class final is on Friday, and she'll need to push through to get a good lane assignment for the following day, so it could set her up very well. But there is plenty of competition, even from across the hall at home. Ceara Watson is your third seed in the field, an excellent runner in her own right. Splitting the pair is Amanda Crawford, who is due for a drastice drop in her personal best. With a little push, she could steal the win here. The D2 action will be as close as ever. Jinjer Pierce leads the field of quality athletes, but she is not an outright favorite. Kalle Villamaire has been short on competition this season, and the extra company could push her to a big personal best. Kiana Lee and Anna Schug return for what some would argue is their better event. Anything could happen here. | |||||
