State of the Action: In what seems to be the story for 2015, two 8th graders made the finals of the 300m, with Jenna Crean as the top seed. In fact, Crean's trials' time of 40.07 stands as the new New York State 8th Grade Record. However, the 300m is a tradition for the PSAL, and Arianne Strunkey was not about to let that go. All out, the senior from the city sprinted away from the field, the only athlete to break 40secs all day. She comes away with her first ever State Title. |
