Big East Championship 2010

University of Louisville 5th Year Senior Michael Eaton finished second overall at the Big East Championship on Saturday in Jamesville, New York.  He led the Cardinals to a Team Runner-Up finish as well.   

Providence College junior Lee Carey (Bedworth, England) took first-place honors at the Big East Championships today, leading the Friar men to a third-place team finish out of 14 programs. The Friar women also ran well, taking fourth out of a crowded field of 16.

Paced by graduate student Eric Ashe's second-place finish, the Boston University men's cross country team captured its 11th America East Championship on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.

The Pitt men's cross country team finished 12th and the women's team placed 15th at the Big East Championships, Saturday, hosted by Syracuse. Villanova took the women's title for the third consecutive year while Syracuse picked up its second consecutive championship.

Dan Francoeur paced the University of Connecticut men's cross country team with a 52nd place individual finish, as the Huskies placed 10th at the BIG EAST Championship this afternoon at Jamesville Beach County Park in Syracuse, N.Y.

Junior Allie Prendergast helped the women's team to a 13th-place finish, while Phillip Wise was the men's top finisher, helping lt;br />them to 13th-place finish as well.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - On the heels of a second-place finish from Michael Eaton and two top-15 finishers, the No. 28-ranked University of Louisville men's cross country team finished runner-up at the 2010 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships at Jamesville Beach Park in Jamesville, N.Y.
