Holiday Track Classic
      
Dear Coach: 
      
     The Suffolk Track Officials, in conjunction with Mt. Sinai High School, and sponsored by the Sayville Running Co. would like to invite your boys’ team to attend the 16th annual Holiday Track Classic at Mt. Sinai High School on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 9:30AM. This is a wonderful opportunity 

        For your athletes to participate in an early season competition. Competitor ribbons will be available on request. In addition, medals and clocks will be awarded to the top performers of the meet. This year the meet will begin at 9:30AM. FAT Timing and Results provided by Just-in-time-racing.com. 
      
     We will have 30-40 New York State certified track and field officials coordinating the events. We anticipate that the meet will last about 4 to 5 hours in warm sunshine. Plan to arrive early to pick up additional information at the site.

FEE: $175.00 blanket entry.  This entitles a team to unlimited entries. 

                      $25.00 per relay 

                      $10.00 per athlete/per individual event 
      
ENTRY DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7, 2010 
      
MEET INFORMATION: 
      
1.      Sanctioned for all of New York State including the PSAL and CHSAA 

        2.      Fast all-weather track with 6 lanes.  Pin spikes at 1/8 length or pins. 

        3.      National Federation rules, with modifications, will govern. 

        4.      No more than 2 events per athlete, including William Shelley Invitational 4 x 400  

        5.      All relay and field event cards will be provided for you when you arrive at the meet. 

        6.      Verbal seed times will be used in the individual running events. 

        7.      All events, except the 100M, will be run in sections with final placement based on 

         Time. 

        8.      Each section will include runners of the same ability. 

        9.      FAT timing will be used in all Open and Championship races 
      

        
Seeded sections will run first, in the 400 intermediate hurdle race there may be a limited # of        
      
      
            Competitors.        

        11.  There is no team scoring, batons will be available 
      

        
All relay cards will be submitted to the clerk when called. Except William Shelley Invitational 4 x 400 relay.
        
William Shelley Invitational 4 x 400 relay entry cards are due April 7th  
      
      
14.  Cards for the field events will be provided at the site of the event 

        15.  The meet is for boys only.   
      

        
The first running event will begin at 10:00 AM sharp and field events at 9:30 AM.
