2/6-Tate MS 55m champ, Clemons 2nd in 55h @ Colgate Womens Games Finals @ MSG Don Rich Feb 11, 2004

Clarenchell Tate of the Imani School in Philadelphia, made it a perfect 6-0 as she took first in the 55 dash in 7.06 at Madison Square Garden in the Colgate Women\'s Games finals. In High School action, Mycaiah Clemons of Valley HS in New Kensington, was 2nd in the 55 Hurdles with an 8.37 clocking, and Lavaughn Jones, HS Eng & Science, 3rd in the 1500 in 4:48. Alex Brasington was 3rd in the MS 1500 in 4:52. Another notable performance, for which there is not yet an official time, included Jonae McAllister of GAMP, winning the MS 400 in 61:05. 1/24-Clemons, Tate, McAllister champs @ Colgate Womens\' Games Semis @ Pratt Don Rich Jan 26, 2004

Valley\'s Mycaiah Clemons won her 5th straight 55 Hurdles, this one in the Semi-Finals with an 8.41. Middle School champs included Clarenchell Tate of the Imani School in Philadelphia, winning the 55 Dash in 7.24 seconds; and Jonae McAllister of GAMP, taking the 400 in 59.61 seconds. Other elite performances came from Kameesha Worthinging, 3rd in the HS 800 in 2:19.21; Jaleeca Jacobs, 5th in 2:20.500, and Lavaughn Jones, 2nd in the HS 1500 in 4:53.76. In the MS races, Alex Brasington was 3rd in the 1500 in 4:49.76, and Anya Curtis, a 6th grader, was 4th in 4:53.49.

1/17-Tate goes undefeated with 55+200 wins @ Colgate Women\'s Games MS#4 @ Pratt Don Rich Jan 17, 2004

Imani\'s Clarenshell Tate continued to roll in the last of four middle school prelim meets for the Colgate Women\'s Games with another two wins, 6.9 in the 55 and 25.8 in the 200. That makes here 8 for 8 so far. Newcomer Jasmine Rhone of North Hall (Pittsburgh) won the 55 Hurdles in a PA elite 8.5. And Alex Brasington advances to the Semis with her 3rd place 4:52 in the 1500.

1/9-Worthington, Tate, Brasington roll @ Colgate Women\'s Games #3 @Pratt Don Rich Jan 10, 2004

In the third week of high school competition at the Colgate Women\'s Games, Kameesha Worthington, an Enginnering & Science sophomore in Philadelphia, won the 800 in 2:17.3. Mycaiah Clemons of Penn Trafford HS was 3rd in the 55 Hurdles in 8.3. Lavaughn Jones, Engineering & Science, and Jaleeca Jacobs, Bodine HS, ran well in the 1500, going 4:49.8 and 4:50.7, respectively. In Middle School competition, Clarenchell Tate of the Imani School, posted a 6.9 win in the 55 dash, and Upper Dublin\'s Alex Brasington went 4:50 for 3rd in the 1500.

1/5-PA\'s Tate 4 for 4 after two weeks @ Colgate Women\'s Games Don Rich Jan 6, 2004

Clarenchell Tate of Philadelphia\'s Imani School, won the 55 (7.0/7.1) and the 200 (26.2/26.2) each of the first two weeks at the Colgate Women\'s Game in the Middle School Division. Upper Dublin middle- schooler Alex Brasington was 4th in week #1 12/27 in the 800 in 2:31 and 3rd in the 1500 in 4:54. In week #2 1/3, she was 3rd in the 800 in 2:27 and 3rd in the 1500 in 4:53. In high school races, Lavaughn Jones of Philly\'s Engineering & Science (HSES), was 4th in the 1500 in week #1, and 3rd in week #2 1/2 in 4:52. Teammates Kameesha Worthington and Ashley Ligon placed well during week #2, with Worthington 5th in the 800 in 2:22 and Ligon 7th in 2:27. Valley High\'s Mycaiah Clemons was 3rd in the 55 Hurdles during week #2, going 8.4.
