Friday Night Lights
Over the last two years, Trials of Miles has put together four professional track meets, starting with the three city "Qualifier" series in 2021, and Track Night NYC in 2022. With each of these events, the focus has been on trying to create a different kind of track meet experience -- one where entertainment and the fan experience is at the center of everything we do.
In 2023, Trials of Miles looks to continue this tradition, with another night of track and field entertainment under the lights in New York City. This year's event will contain many of the same elements as year's past, including a very tight two hour program with outside the box exhibition races, world class high school fields, and races featuring some of the nation's best distance runners. This year, we're also adding in some new elements, including the "$8000 800s", two big stakes races that will cap off the night. More information on the event can be found below. High School Standards
The program will begin with open HS sections of the 200m and 800m. The athletes with the fastest seed times will be placed in the seeded sections, which will be run during the "Main Event" program from 7:30-9:30pm,.
HS 200m: 24.00/28.00 (top 16 to run in seeded sections)
HS 800m: 2:15/2:40 (top 10 to run in seeded section)
HS Mile: 4:40/5:45 (top 14 to run in seeded section)

High school boys and girls 200m and 800m fields will be capped at 80 athletes, and registration will be capped when capacity is hit.
