Meet Location: Crossings Park of Colonie (back pavilion area)
Course: Some elevation changes, but mostly flat and fast. Mostly grass with some road crossings. It would make a great first invitational for a modified team!
VARSITY/JV: 5,000m (3.1 miles)
FRESHMEN: 2,600m (1.61 miles)
MODIFIED: 2,000m (1.24 miles)
Entries: Each school may enter one team of seven (7) runners in the varsity race and one team of seven (7) runners with extra runners possible in the Junior Varsity, Freshmen, and Modified races. Please complete the registration through ny.milesplit
Entry Fees:
Varsity Boys and Girls Races - $50 per team/gender (7 runners)
J.V. Boys and Girls Races - $35 per team/gender (includes 7 runners, after 7: $3 per athlete)
Freshmen Boys and Girls Races - $35 per team/gender (includes 7 runners, after 7: $3 per athlete)
Modified Boys and Girls Races- $25 per team/gender (includes 7 runners, after 7: $3 per athlete)
Maximum entry fee - $250 per school

10:30am Womens Collegiate 5,000m race
11:15am High School Boys Varsity 5,000m race
11:50am High School Girls Varsity 5,000m race
12:30pm High School Boys JV 5,000m race
1:10pm High School Girls JV 5,000m race
1:45pm Awards Ceremony for High School Varsity and JV
Awards: Medals will be awarded to individual finishers placing 1-20 in Varsity, 1-15 in JV, 1-10 in Freshmen and Modified races. The first place Varsity team will receive a team champion plaque and a set of 7 team champion t-shirts. The second place Varsity team will receive a team runner-up plaque. The winning teams in the JV, Freshmen, and Modified races will receive a team champion plaque.
Concessions: We will have a concession stand for drinks and snacks. Also, we plan to sell Springstead Invitational t-shirts.
