ELITE TRACK & FIELD INVITATIONAL 2021
Friday May 28th 4 PM

We are very pleased to invite your team to the ELITE Track and Field Invitational held on Friday May 28th 2021 starting at 4:00pm, with a coachs meeting at 3:45 pm in the infield of the stadium.
We will be awarding custom awards to the top 6 in each event, along with trophies for the 1st place and special coaches choice awards.
***In order to ensure that the best throwers get a chance to throw finals in daylight, we will have the top 2 flights (24 throwers) throw first with finals. Once the first 2 flights have finished all remaining throwers will be able to throw with an open pit until we run out of daylight. The throwers not competing in the first two flights will still have the opportunity to win awards and
There will also be minimum distances applied to the 2nd and 3rd throws. All throwers will have their 1st throw measured. ( minimum- Boys shot/ disc- 30/80 girls shot/ disc- 20/60)
** please notice that we are going to be running a 4x1600m relay
If you dont have 4 milers to fill a team you may merge with another team.
The entry fee for the meet will be $175

We will be using Milesplit.com this year for our entries. Please submit entries by 9pm Wednesday May 26th. Each athlete is allowed to enter a maximum of 4 events. To ensure that athletes are placed in appropriate heats please use the FAT times that Milesplit has or add .24 to hand times in events 400m and under and the 4x100m
Meet guidelines
All athletes and coaches must go through temperature checks before they are allowed in the meet. Temperature checks should be performed at each school before athletes get on the bus.
All athletes, coaches, and officials will be required to properly wear a face mask for the entire time they are present at the meet. If a mask needs to be removed, the individual must be at least 12 feet away from others in all directions.
Each school will be assigned an area to set up their team camp. Athletes will not be allowed to enter into other teams camps.
Only athletes who are currently competing in an event will be allowed in the event area.
Any event that requires athletes to line up (field events or waiting for your heat) social distancing will be required.
Any shared equipment will be sanitized before it is used by another athlete. We encourage all athletes to have their own equipment whenever possible.
Spectators will not be allowed at the meet so that we can utilize the bleachers for team camps.

Discus 4:00 (Boys then Girls)( top 2 flights and finals first- followed by remaining throwers (Girls 60, Boys 80)
There will be 3 jumps and throws with the top 8 to finals.
the first 2 throws will be measured, the 3rd must meet the standard
Scoring for the meet will be 10-8-6-4-2-1
