Great Dane Classic (College) 2009

Albany, NY -- Sophomore Sarah Campanelli took 3rd place in the mile at the University of Albany's Great Dane Classic held on January 23, 2009 with a time of 5:02.38 earning all 6 of her team's points. Freshman Stewart Jones ran an impressive 4:22.58 mile placing 14th. Dustin Hall, a sophomore, placed 16th in the 3000m with a sub 9 minute clocking in 8:56.38

Three Armory collegiate records were broken Friday night at the Great Dane Invitational. Men's 1,000m - 2:23.58 - Tim Kaijala - Penn Men's Pole Vault -17-9 - Rory Quiller - Binghamton Women's 55m HH - 7.71 Natasha Ruddock - Essex County One other was close was Dean Juste from Albany, who ran 7.45 for 55m hurdles, close to the record of 7.43 MEET RESULTS
