Photo by Tim Fulton of ArmoryTrack.com What’s different about the boys from Albemarle this year from last? Is it that they have 3 All-American performances, a state title, and numerous individual honors? Or maybe that they have already run a faster time than they did all of last year in indoor and its only the second week of December. One thing is for sure, the boys on Albemarle’s 4x800 meter relay team this year have the confidence and poise of champions, and will look to return to the podium this year at states and eventually nationals. As they head up to the Loughlin Games in the famous Armory of New York, MileStat.com took some time to sit down with the junior anchor runner of the 4x800 meter relay team in Anthony Kostelac and discuss the history of the team, and the history they will soon hope to make.
