MileSplit HQ - The weekend weather has finally come out, and fast times are afoot. We're at both the Lions Invitational in Somers, and the St. Anthony's Invitational on Long Island, bringing you unprecedented coverage of each event. You can check out the race videos from last night, and follow along as all the action unfolds this afternoon.
Syracuse, NY - As we mentioned earlier in the season, it was only a matter of time. Sam Affolder (Carthage) grabbed his first state record on Friday, tackling the 8th grade 800m state record set in 1984. Likewise, he finds himself only a few seconds off the State record in the mile as well.
Somers, NY - The meet with the (in)famous T-Shirts to the top 6, the Somers Lions Club Invitational looks to have clear skies, and cool conditions. We'll break down the top matchups you should watch out for.
Rai Benjamin, Chad Zallow, and Norman Grimes lead our MileSplit All-Americans Watch List in the boys hurdles.
Huntington, NY - The action is picking up on Long Island, and MileSplit NY will be there to capture it all. Tune in Friday and Saturday for live updates, and binge watch the meet on tape delay on Sunday. It looks to be one of the best 800m fields of the Season, so you don't want to miss this.

While it may have been opening weekend for New York Track, in that times can now be used as auto-qualifiers for States, the weather still didn't want to cooperate. Camillus NY - With things starting to warm up, you can tell Spring Track is back. After the success of Jim Vermeulen's XC Journal in the fall, we've asked again for him to provide some news and notes once a month this Spring. Think of these as the thoughts that cross the mind of your average coach. Up from Section 3, we present you with "Thoughts From Three."
While many of our athletes competed at the Penn Relays, there were plenty back home in the Empire State. We merged the marks together for one mega-meet, so you can see which athletes "Won the Weekend"
In her first Outdoor attempt of the season, recent Kentucky signee Marie-JoseƩ Ebwea-Bile breaks the Outdoor State Record in the Triple Jump, getting third overall at the Penn Relays (Top American)
