MileSplit NY To Rejoin Foundation Running Camp This Summer

Summer training can be integral to a team’s continued success throughout the school year.  Developing skills in the off season provides a no pressure environment where an athlete is surrounded by like-minded individuals without the natural divisions such as team affinities and Sectional participation.  MileSplit NY is proud to announce its official new partnership with Foundation Running Camp will continue for the 2013 season and beyond.  We believe our vision for the sport is shared; that all athletes should have affordable and equal access to training in both their discipline and with others of their same ability.  As in both Track and Field, and Cross Country, all athletes of every level are accepted and encouraged to train for improvement, and have fun doing it.

Registration is open today, right here

Foundation Running Camp was created with the intended purpose of providing an environment where all campers can be successful through safe, effective, and appropriate training. What once began as a small one week day camp held at Bethpage Park in Nassau County, has now grown into one of the most popular and affordable sleepaway camps in the United States. Next week, the Foundation Day Camp will begin, while the sleepaway camp held at Camp Pontiac, in Copake NY, will start on August 11th.

One of the reasons that make Foundation Running Camp unique and special are it is not only designed for cross country runners, but also has a place for all track and field athletes as well. Foundation offers a comprehensive program for cross country and track and field which includes: sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, pole vault and racewalk.  Foundation doesn't specialize towards one type of athlete, but rather caters to the needs of all individuals of varied ability levels and events.

We are excited and look forward to working with our new affiliates, Nike and MileSplit NY.
