NEW YORK – While surrounded by reporters, Bryan Clay toyed with the idea of making the decathlon a reality show. He was right. There is enough drama and unexpected turns, just without the parties or relationship drama.
But the decathlon in America certainly offers a load of personality and most importantly talent, all of which will be on display at Millrose Games tomorrow at Madison Square Garden.
Clay, the reigning Olympic decathlon champ, the 2009 World decathlon champ Trey Hardee, and Aston Eaton, the world record-holder in the indoor heptathlon will square off in three-event dual called the Millrose Multi Challenge. The event will include the 60-meter hurdles, shot put and high jump.
