The first qualifier for the invitational high school mile at the Millrose Games kicks off this Saturday at the 2010 Bishop Loughlin Games. This season, the road to Madison Square Garden runs right through the New Balance Track and Field Center and it’s heating up already.
Maryland brings to milers to the Armory for a chance to run at the World’s Most Famous Arena. Matt Jablonski of Loyola Blakefield (left, photo courtesy runningmaryland.com) brings a 4:10.64 personal best to the field alongside Robby Creese of Glenelg, the Maryland State cross country champ. They will be joined on the line with Miles Schoedler of Ocean City (N.J.) and Warwick Valley’s top middle-distance runner, Tim Luthin.
