What The Numbers Say:
In 2003, Saranac Lake took second in the Class C race. It's the highest place ever from a Section 7 Girls team. Flash forward to now, and Saranac enter as the favorites, looking to make history. They have a good compression at 2-5, and a true front runner in Sienna Boulds. But close behind are the perennial favorites, East Aurora and Bronxville, looking to retain their own legacies. Right now, there is a big gap on the field out front, but all three teams know how to run their best at Championships, and this will be a title hard fought for the win.
