Boys Team Ranks
Breakdown: It's been a wild year for the NY boys. There has been no stability at the top of the ranks, and that volatility will continue as the season progresses. There are four teams with legitimate shots at winning the Fed title, and three more who are in the conversation for the upset. We'll break them down here.
Pros - Have progressed nicely throughout the Season, picking up major wins at Burnt Hills and Suburbans.
Cons - They took 4th at McQuaid, behind all the other teams listed.
Pros - When they are on, they're on, and they have the top individual in the State, so they are only scoring four runners against others five.
Cons - There has been variable performances from their squad, and they are vulnerable when not all are running their best, which led to defeat at McQuaid.
Pros - They've added a fourth and a fifth they didn't have at McQuaid, and are far and away the best team in the State on paper.
Cons - They are only the best team in the State if their #2, Darren Pasek, is running. He's been out since pulling up at his home Invite on 10/05. See scoring at bottom of page.
Pros - They're the best compression team in the state, which helped them win at McQuaid.
Cons - That formula also buried them at Manhattan (although they weren't running at full strength).

Pros - Are peaking nicely, with a strong 1-2 punch. Those low sticks made them the top NY finisher at Manhattan.
Cons - There was fluctuation in their rosters between Manhattan and Rockland County, making it hard to determine their top 5.
Pros - They are the reigning Federation Champions, and bring back all but one of their team from last year.
Cons - That one they lost was their front runner, and a significant contributor to their team scoring.
Pros - They won the merge at Pre-States, and have continued to improve.
Cons - They finished 5th at Manhattan among only NY teams.
