51st Edition of One of Nation's Largest High School Cross Country Meet Returns October 14 to legendary Van Cortlandt Park in The Bronx
Bronx, NY - The Manhattan College Cross Country Invitational Presented by HOKA (MCXCI) will be live streamed by MileSplit and, for the first-time, all 42 races will be streamed free without a required subscription. As part of a new, longer-term extension between MileSplit - a division of FloSports - and Manhattan College, MileSplit will provide an enhanced on-site production of America's largest, single-day, scholastic cross country meet as well as video-on-demand coverage of the day's races available at both manhattan.milesplit.com as well as at www.
The meet will also feature real-time scoring provided by Leone Timing that will be integrated within the race streaming and available at www.
The 51st edition of the meet will be contested at Van Cortlandt Park adjacent to nearby Manhattan College on Saturday, October 14. The New York City event also includes both the prestigious Peter Acquilone Memorial Boys' and Coach Edward J.J. Bowes '64 Memorial Girls' Eastern States Championship elite races along with varsity, junior varsity, sophomore, freshman and modified/intermediate races for both boys and girls.
MileSplit will be providing live streaming coverage of the Manhattan College Cross Country Invitational from different locations within historic Van Cortlandt Park in addition to live finish line interviews. Those MileSplit camera locations will be located at the start of the races, the flats leading into the Van Cortlandt Park hills, two additional on-the-course locations as well as the finish line alongside Broadway. MileSplit will feature full-race relays on a video-on-demand basis within 48 hours of the day's races all at manhattan.milesplit.com
"We are delighted to welcome back MileSplit and Leone, two of the integral partners in the success of this meet with live video streams and real-time individual and team scoring," said Kerri Inman. "For this 2023 Invitational, Manhattan College is especially pleased to offer live video streams as well as video-on-demand coverage of our 42 races on a free-to-view basis without any required subscriptions."
MileSplit will also provide MCXCI additional editorial coverage including meet previews, photos, interviews, and rankings.
