PSAL Preview
Sometimes underrated in the sport of XC, 2022 was a breakout year for the biggest city in the country. They had a very competitive city title in the Fall, and then went on a dominant run on the Track over the longer distances, both Indoors and Out. While graduation thinned the herd a bit, there is still plenty of talent coming back to see how their new speed fares on the dirt.
Henry Koike-Sieira and Shane Murphy took 2nd and 3rd respectively in 2022, and are back to both move one place higher. Also one place higher is their ambitions as a team, after taking second to Brooklyn Tech the year prior. However, Brooklyn Tech is not ready to just give the title away, as they have the pieces for a return to the top of the podium in 2023. It's one of the most competitive races in meet history, and we're ready to see who's put in the mileage over the Summer.
