Outlook: After their 2nd ever trip to the State Meet in 2022, the Sutherland Girls are well positioned for a podium finish. They have great chemistry up top, between two runners than can rotate for the top spot, with plenty of options at 3 through 5.

Outlook: A top ten finish at Feds shows how competitive Class B can be, and a trip to the State Meet must be the overall goal. They have a certified front runner, and then very strong compression 2-5, giving them a pack scoring team that could be very competitive, especially, if the back four all improve in tandem.

Outlook: This Long Island squad has seen success in the latter half of the 2010's, and will be looking to continue their streak of two straight trips to the State Meet. Bohan leads the team as a Senior, and has plenty of teammates to set an example for.

Burnt Hills (Spartans)

Outlook: After missing a trip to States in 2022, Burnt Hills looks to be back on the horse in 2023. They are well balanced throughout, with a Top 3 finisher at the State Meet, and plenty of interchangeability on the back end of their team. They're also young, which allows for big jumps in performance from Season to Season, something that will come in handy in the very competitive Capital Region.

Somers (Tuskers)

States Teams: 2022 (B-3rd)

States Individuals (Top 10 finishers): Mary Alice Howard (2004, B-4th) (2005, B-6th)

Last Year's Summary: 3rd in States B, 1st in Sectionals

Outlook: The Tuskers made the most of their first trip to States by taking third overall, and only lose one athlete to graduation. They're set up for another big battle with Pearl River, and are more balanced through their first four runners. One more girl to step up at the fifth position, and its back on a bus up to VVS.

Outlook: Runners-up in 2022, Cornwall brings back quality runners at the top of the order. Known to develop talent, we could see this team take big jumps in the ranks throughout the season.
