It may not be a championship venue, but there has been plenty of solid performances at the Rockland Community College over the years. A no-spike facility, the track may not run exceptionally fast, but with great competition, anything is possible.
At the Suffern Invite, senior Nathan Brimhall (Shenendehowa) threw down in the 3200m, clocking a 9:34.29 for NY #6 this year. Not only that, but it also the 2nd fastest performance in the MileSplit database, which dates back to 2007 in full, with select performances before that.
Not a bad showing for the Shen Senior.
