Summary: From all appearances, Saint Anthony's should repeat with by far the strongest and most balanced team. Behind the Friars will be seven teams who could all grab the runner-up spot if everything works out. St. Francis Prep won the NYBQCHSAA championship and has the most balanced team of the other seven contenders. Notre Dame Academy has the strongest top 3 of any team, but in a big meet like this one, there will be a lot of places plugged in by opponents before the 4-5 runners cross the line.
Lola Dinneen and Ava Gumb should have another great contest in a competition that will continue next year.
